Background
Bernard was admitted to the Virginia bar in 1969 and the New York bar in 1970. He served as an Assistant District Attorney for the City and County of New York from 1970-1973. Bernard joined Edmunds & Williams in 1973. He is a member of the Lynchburg (President, 1983), Virginia, and American Bar Associations and the Lynchburg Estate Planning Council.
